End of Line Flame Arrestor

Application:

As breather/venting safety device incorporating an explosion proof flame arrester element for installation on top of storage tanks, tank access covers or breather pipes.

The breather allows the unimpeded flow of gases out to atmosphere and air into the tank/pipe thereby preventing vacuum locks while ensuring provision of a permanent and reliable protection against any flashback into the tank/pipe.

The is device is not permitted to be installed in enclosed areas.

Approved for all materials of the explosion group llB3 with a maximum experimental safe gap (MESG). 0.65mm.

Detonation Flame Arrestor

Application:

For installation into pipes to protect containers and components against stable detonation of flammable liquids and gases.

Tested and approved as detonation flame arrester type 4.

Approved for al substances of explosion groups llA1 to ;;B3 with a maximum experimental safe gap (MESG) 0.65mm.

Working unidirectional in pipes, whereby an operating pressure of 1.22 bar abs. And an operating temperature of 60 degrees Celsius must not be exceeded.

Provided with one temperature sensor (PT 100) the armature is certified against short time burning from one side.

The installation is not dependent not he position and both directions of flow are possible. During installation, please observe the direction of detonation and the indication “protected side”.

Deflagration Flame Arrestor

Application:

For installation into pipes to the protection of vessels and components against deflagration of flammable liquids and gases.

Approved for all substances of explosion groups llA1 to llA with a maximum experimental safe gap (MESG) > 0.9mm.

Bi-directionally working in pipes, whereby an operating pressure of 1.2 bar abs. And an operating temperature of 60 degrees Celsius must not be exceeded.

The distance between a potential ignition source and the flame arrester must not exceed 50 times the inner pipe diameter.

The installation of the deflagration flame arrester into horizontal and vertical pipes is permissible.

Provided with one or two temperature sensors (PT 100) the armature is certified against short time burning from one or both sides. If only the thermal sensor is attached, it must be installed into that part of the body from which a fire is expected.

Bidirectional In-Line Flame Arrestor

For installation into pipes for the protection of vessels and components against stable detonation of flammable liquids and gases .

Tested and approved as detonation flame arrestor Type 4

Approved for all substances of explosion groups llA1 to llB3 with a maximum experimental safe gap (MESG) > 0.5mm.

Bi-directionally working in pipes, whereby an operating pressure of 1.2bar abs an operating temperature of 60 degrees Celsius must not be exceeded.

The installation of the detonation flame arrestor into horizontal and vertical pipes is permissible.

Provided with one or two temperature sensors (PT100) the armature is certified against short time burning from one or both sides. If only one thermal sensor is attached, it must be installed into that part of the body from which a fire is expected.
